Noland Interiors

Since 1982, Kathryn Greeley has been providing professional interior design services in Western North Carolina in addition to numerous projects out of town and out of state. For over twenty-five years, Kathryn has been creating timeless interiors that are elegant, but comfortable.

Kathryn has developed her sense of style and skill from extensive training and experience as well as working with a list of interesting and delightful clients.

A typical Kathryn Greeley room begins with comfort.

As she puts it: "My desire is to create a timeless and uniquely personal environment in which clients can enjoy their lives. A room should first serve its function, then be comfortable, luxurious and inviting, but never take itself too seriously. The combination of color, pattern, and texture -- the bones of good furniture and architecture, beautiful woods and distinctive art and accessories gives a room its personality and style. It should evolve and grow, as we do. However, the most important element in the creative process is the mutual trust and communication between the designer and the client. It's the magic that makes the difference between a good interior and a beautiful one."

Kathryn received both a B.S. Degree and M.S. Degree in Interior Design from Western Carolina University. She is currently participating in The Business Solutions Program for Creative People in New York City. A professional member of ASID, Kathryn also served a two-year term as President of the North and South Carolina Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers.

Kathryn is active in the arts community of Western North Carolina and has a strong belief in volunteerism. She also serves as an Adjunct Faculty Member of the Interior Design Department at Western Carolina University and is on the program's Advisory Board. In addition to interior design, Kathryn's passions include cooking and gardening.
